PERSONAL:

Dave and Judith live on a 33 hectare farm block in Kumeroa, south-east of Woodville. They work with both Angus and Highland cattle, having been successful in procuring a small number of Polled Highland cows. Their aspiration is to develop a line of pure-bred Polled Highland cattle. A goal they are fast approaching, having from their own breeding, program, put a number of Polled Highland calves on the ground themselves.

In addition to their commitments to Mighty mix, Judith works fulltime for a forestry and farm mapping company in Palmerston North, while Dave looks after the place, does casual farm work for neighbours, and occasionally drives for local transport firms.
